Emma Goldman was the world's most notorious anarchist in the late 1800s and the early 1900s. Exiled from her home in the United States, she would eventually spend some of her final years living in Toronto, giving speeches, organizing meetings and raising money for the causes in which she believed (including pacifism, labour rights and birth control.
