Frances Loring and Florence Wyle were early Canadian scultpors who lived together in Toronto for most of their lives. They ran the city's first real bohemian art salon in their house in Moore Park, throwing parties with artists, like the Group of Seven, and other famous Torontonian friends, like Frederick Banting, the doctor who discovered insulin.
