Arabella Radelmüller was the daugther of Toronto's first lightkeeper: John Paul Radelmüller. He had been born in Germany and worked for the British royal family before coming here in the early 1800s. His daughter was just a few years old when he mysteriously disappeared —  probably murderered — in 1815. You can read more about the Radelmüllers here.
