Scadding Title

Henry Scadding was a teacher, a priest, and Toronto's first historian; he wrote about the history of the city back in the 1800s. His father was one of the founders of Toronto, serving as clerk to Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe. The Scaddings' cabin is the oldest suriving building in the city.
