Sir Henry Pellatt was a rich Toronto businessman who had Casa Loma built as his home in the early 1900s. He would eventually lose the castle after his corruption caused the collapse of the Home Bank of Canada and the loss of his fortune. You can read all about it on the Dreams Project blog here.
